- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices] 'Microsoft Update' = 'wuamkop.exe'
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Microsoft Update' = 'wuamkop.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\wuamkop.exe' 300 "<Full path to virus>"
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\wuamkop.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\wuamkop.exe
Deletes itself.
