Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
- file extensions
Creates and executes the following:
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\iuex32.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <LS_APPDATA>\svchost.exe
- %TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\l
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\svchost.exe
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\iuex32.exe
- %TEMP%\IXP000.TMP\ueiow32.bat
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\iuex32.exe
