A family of monitoring software designed to track Android users’ activities. Upon installation they hide their icon from the applications list on the home screen. They are then able to continue operating under the radar without user detection.
Applications from the Program.Mrecorder family are capable of:
reading SMS messages;
recording phone calls;
tracking device location;
recording environment surroundings using the device microphone;
silently snapping photos using the device’s camera; and
allowing remote control of the device (blocking and unblocking the screen, turning on and off the Wi-Fi module and mobile Internet connection, etc.).
